Williams has performed maintenance and capital project scopes in single plants and utility systems with multi-plant locations since 1994. We have brought a unique set of capabilities and qualifications to this marketplace. In addition to the normal service disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, civil, etc., Williams enhanced its nuclear market capabilities by including coatings, insulation, and asbestos/lead abatement. These capabilities have lowered the overall cost of utilizing Williams on critical nuclear maintenance and fixed-price capital projects.

In recent years, Williams developed and incorporated a robust project control/reporting system into its service offering. This capability enables Williams to provide aggressive schedule and cost commitments on all projects under its management control. While other vendors provide maintenance and modifications contracts solely on a time and material hourly rate basis, Williams has added a higher level of cost and schedule predictability to the activity via its project controls system.

In the last decade, Williams has also evolved into a major participant in the nuclear construction market, being heavily involved in ALL new build construction efforts that have taken place in the United States in the last decade. Our services have included key mechanical and specialty scopes during construction and the critical start-up and testing services in the final stages before coming online.
